Shiny new blog for me
I've decided to start up yet another blog. I like blogs that are focused within a topic area which means there's new room for shop talk on my personal blog or any of the other blogs I write on. That brings me here, to a new blog on one of the other many urls I've got kickin' around.
What to expect here? Code, links and diatribes on web development. I do front and backend coding in cfml, as3, js, css and mxml. I do database design. I do information architecture. I'm a jack of all trades master of none. I strive to be the best at everything I do, but I know my best asset is being diverse and being able to communicate between to people with varying degrees of knowledge about the web.
I'm the Technical Director of FITC. I build all the backend tools for the organization. But more importantly, if you want to speak about something technical at an event, you need to go through me. ( see fitc.ca/proposals for more details ).
I'm also the Web Developer of nowtoronto.com where I do everything that makes the website tick from building small applications like our annual Sex Survey to the creating complex automation systems to get content from InDesign into the website's database.
Welcome and hopefully you'll eventually find something useful here.
